There's nothing we love more than our members coming back to play with us in the following season!
Returning Players do not need to complete an Expression of Interest (EOI) form. Our members will be emailed an invitation directly to the Season Registration as soon as registration opens in October.
A Returning Player is a player who has paid all of their club fees the previous year (ie a financial member).
If the player has skipped a year, they are not considered a Returning Player and will need to go through the New Player process.
SIBLINGS of Returning Players who are NEW to the club can also be included on the Season Registration (as we offer Sibling Discounts for schooling age players). For NEW Year 7/8 Players who are a sibling of a Returning Player, they must go through the New Player process to participate in Trials. They can then be included on the Season Registration.

1. Season Registrations Open - October All Returning Players will be invited to register for the following season when Season Registrations open in October.
|
2. Pay the Registration Deposit A deposit will be required to secure your place for the following season. If the deposit is not paid at registration, your position will not be secured and may be offered to a New Player. |
3. Pay Registration Fees Full registration fees must be paid by the due date of 31st January 2027. |
4. Attend Grading - February All registered players (New and Returning) from Year 5 and above are required to attend Grading in February. Registrations will be closed during the Grading period to allow us to manage player numbers and control intake. |
5. Team Selection Following Grading, players will be placed into teams. Teams will not be announced immediately, as we need to ensure each team has the required number of players. This may involve further recruiting and/or moving players between teams. |
6. Teams Announced Once all teams have been finalised, players will be notified of their team via email. |
Grading
Grading involves a series of sessions where independent graders observe players participating in a number of short games. Players are given the opportunity to play in different positions for Year 5 or nominated positions for Year 6-12, and graders assess their skills and performance while making notes.
You can learn more about FFNC Grading here.
What happens if i miss grading or team selection?
If a Returning Player misses the Grading and team selection process, they can still register via the EOI form as a New Player here.
This form is used to source additional players when required. However, because places may be filled during the registration and team selection process. Returning Players are strongly encouraged to register as soon as registrations open to ensure their place at the club is secured.

We’ll take friendships into consideration, but we also want to give players the opportunity to meet new people, make new friends and be part of the wider FFNC community. |
5. Teams Announced Once all teams have been finalised, players will be notified of their team via email in March. |
